Conall 
Lieutenant Conall Fletcher of the 93rd Highland Regiment is injured at Balaclava during the Crimean War. On the battlefield after he’s shot he shares an intimate moment with Captain Graeme Munro, a moment that both startles and intrigues him. He’s been in love with widow Avril Scott for months, but the intensity of Munro’s regard and Conall’s heated reaction to it change everything.
